Michael Jenkins: Director of Education
Michael is our Director of Education, specialising in STEM subjects to engage students and the public in relation to the astro sciences, space colonisation, and the technology & resources that DarkStar Aerospace offer.
Michael holds an MSc in Physics where he focused his research in Electromagnetism and an MA in STEM Education where he focused his research in utilising STEM to develop higher cognitive functioning as a gateway to the STEM fields. Both from King’s College London.
Michael has worked with STEMulate developing STEM projects and engagement exercises at both the Primary and Comprehensive school levels. With CAST Astro Sciences co-developing the program to bring advanced sciences to those school levels, and the educational curriculum to coincide with that program.
